About Wholesome Holmes

I'm Brooke Holmes, creator of Wholesome Holmes. I have always been obsessed with the creative realm (dabbling in music, painting, hairstyling, gardening, cooking, photography etc) and I started a print shop (Bbholmesdesign) through Etsy back in 2017! While I really enjoyed the process and saw success in selling thousands of art prints - I started to feel an enormous pull to be more intentional in my creating... In an overwhelmingly loud and confused world I wanted to root my home in more hope, light, love, and belonging. I am a mother and a wife, and while I certainly haven't attained a "wholesome home" yet, it is something I am continually striving for. So I made a big pivot in the hopes of spreading goodness through art that makes you feel something. I love the creative process and take serious pride in delivering products that I am proud of - I hope you find as much joy here as I do. Thank you for being here :) 

More about my process: All my pieces follow an individual process, many are hand painted by me start to finish (through watercolor, acrylic and digital mediums). Others combine multiple elements from photos and artworks alongside my own. Some pieces feature AI accents through photoshopping, and are then edited and enhanced to match the textures and artistic approach. I use multiple softwares to blend everything into a cohesive image that is uniquely mine. All of these skills I have utilized over the last 10+ years, now allowing me the opportunity to make a “creative collage” of sorts. Some take me a long time and some are quick, some combine all elements and some use just a few - every piece varies depending on the vision and extent of detail.
